    Korean war, went up to the Chinese boarder, and the chings attacked,, that was one of the reason they lost, that war cause them the tie hands politicy, invade north and they will be facing china, hordes of chinese troops, they had to invade china if they wanted to win, than that meant taking on russia as well,,

    politicians always hesitate towin that war, with the american fire power and warfare tactis, They (politicians) could avoid many deaths. Attack tactical places and take them from the VC and NVA, and after winning, go away and let the anemy hav them again. A not attacking North Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, wich were the places were the enemy hide, didn’t helped much to win the war.

    If America had not started the war, South Vietnam would have fallen into communism in 1954 and more Vietnamese would have been murdered in cultural revolutions like those launched by Mao in China (20 million deaths) & Khmer Rouge in Cambodia (2 millions)

    Total Vietnamese democide by communists: 1,040,000 (1975-87) by HCR.

    Excutions: 100,000
    Camp Deaths: 95,000
    Forced Labor: 48,000
    Democides in Cambodia: 460,000
    Democides in Laos: 87,000
    Vietnamese Boat People: 500,000 deaths.

    I like what giap said he said it right we were just like the french all we saw in our sights was win.And that people of the country or origin was the deciding factor.The VC and NVA saw the same thing to win but it was their country so they cared when they saw babys all burned up from naplam or bombs or people being shot to death.They cared and that caring became determination.And they were willing to do what it took to win.
    U.S did not see this.
