Too bad Germans lost the war. Not that there’s much good about Nazi Germany (or even the Germany of today), but it’s lightyears ahead of the Eastern Bloc. The lesser evil lost.

I am American. But …
I am American. But I believe the German military was trained a lot better than any other in WW2. They were smarter and stronger, but I think Hitler is the reason they lost the war. He underestimated a lot of things, and jumped the gun of wanting full power. The USA had more troops to bring in, and would not stop bringing them in, along with Allied forces. In turn, Germany got backed into a wall. Forcing the loss.

I’m glad the Armericans won, because we had better weapons, more men, warmer close and shelter, and better startigy, so screw those Germans who fought against us and screw those who think the Germans should’ve won. People in the west …
People in the west can not understand very simple thing. Froze and winter dangerous for all people. For germans, americans and russians. As germans we had big troubles of our winter – soldiers health was in danger, engines become a piece of very cold metall, deep snow was almost impossible to move through it.
We had better clothes, they had warm shelters.
And they didn’t need to attack.
But they loose.

the 3 nations, …
the 3 nations, russia, america and briton defeted the nazi’s. with lots of help from candian forces. they did this by fighting together as allied forces. If all 3 hadnt fought together the nazi regime would almost definitely have won. the japanese, there where thousands of british troops fighting the japanese to. my grandfather being one of them. so please dont be so ignorant in your views and if your going to have an opinion on a subject make sure you research and know what your talking about.

Allright, dude. First of all, don’t say that no American knows any history. I ain’t American either, but. “You” defeated the Nazis because of your tough winter. They Nazis had way better technology, and could have won, if they had been used to a cold and rough winter, like the Russian winter is. And, by the way. You can’t say “we defeated the germans” because YOU didnt, your grandpa maybe did. So, don’t be a pessimist. Let it go, its more than 60 years ago!

srry to say this but that atomic bomb footage was a nuclear test at the bikini atoll in 1946. you can see it at the blue sea, the wave and the little dots, witch are the ships they used to see what kind of damage it would do.

Our soldiers killed more german soldiers then all aliies together. And if you wouldn’t help us, we would stay on Soviet border in 1944 and look how germans annihilate americans in Normandy.
We defeated germans …
We defeated germans near Moscow without your help. We defeated them in Stalingrad without your help. We defeated them in Kursk battle, with your little help.
You had suc?ess in Europe ONLY because russian armies blocked 70% of german troops and 90% of their tanks on eastern front. If we wouldn’t fight, germans would drop you forces to sea and no any air power could help you.
As most of Americans, you don’t know history at all.

Olay 16, you are confusing wholesale and retail. We held the lease on the supplies and the Russians held on inspite of that idiot Stalin over the first 6 motnhs of the Russian invasion. The war was really won when we defeated the submarine warfare in the Atlantic and the U.S. was able to garrison ENgland for the invasion of Europe. The U,S, did to Germany what the U.S. did to the COnfederacy in the Civil War. Don not confuse deaths with strategy.
